Why is Coconut Oil so good?
It's made of medium-chain fatty acids instead of the long chain variety. They are digested very quickly because they are smaller. This creates heat that in turn stimulates metabolism and restores appropriate enzyme functioning. Additionally, they metabolize quickly and so bypass phases of digestion where they may be otherwise stored as fat.
So Carina started using coconut oil every day after she was finally diagnosed with a thyroid problem. She added it to her morning smoothie. She felt an increase of energy immediately and that was followed by weight loss of 5 lbs the first week and then 2 lbs a week after that.
