Be Kind To Your Body With KIND Organics

KIND Organics

While some vitamin supplements come from foods, it’s a mystery as to what kinds of plants or foods the vitamins were harvested from. Kind Organics (or myKind) is the first-of-its-kind organic supplement line that comes from non-GMO foods. The supplements are derived from real foods that were organically grown without any modification from more than 30 varieties of fruits, vegetables and herbs.

The Kind Organics line includes balanced multivitamins for both men and women to help boost energy, strengthen the immune system and nurture skin and nail growth. However, the new lineup of products is more than just vitamins; the Kind Organics product line also includes supplements and sprays.

A calcium supplement in the Kind Organics line is derived from organic algae, not limestone. The tablets include 800 milligrams of calcium and essential vitamins to help the body properly absorb the calcium.

The Kind Organics Vegan D3 spray is a vitamin D supplement spray derived from natural plant omegas, pumpkin seed oil and cranberry seed oil. Vitamin D—which is found in dairy and fish—is needed to help the body absorb calcium and promote healthy bone growth. One spray, which is vanilla flavored, provides 250 percent of the recommended daily value of vitamin D!

A B-12 spray is also part of the new line. The spray is raspberry flavored and gives the body a boost of Vitamin B-12, which is essential in helping the body form blood cells and foster DNA synthesis. B-12 is good for vegans, vegetarians, older adults and pregnant women.

Pregnant women should also consider Kind Organics prenatal vitamins because they’re also USDA Organic certified and non-GMO products. The prenatal vitamins include folate from organic lemon peels and iron from organic curry leaves. Additionally, the prenatal formula also has a healthy dose of ginger and peppermint to help soothe the stomach and help calm morning sickness and nausea.

All of the tablets included in the Kind Organics line are gluten-free and vegan-friendly and contain all-natural ingredients without added fillers or binders. Meanwhile, the new Kind Organics brand are available for cheaper than other organic vitamins that can be found in health stores and other websites.

If you’re ready to take your health to the next level without any artificial fillers or GMOs, check out the Kind Organics line today!

The Importance of Prenatal Vitamins Explained

Importance of Prenatal Vitamins

While there’s tons of information out there regarding health during pregnancy (no raw fish, no roller coasters, no coffee… the list goes on), you don’t have to be overwhelmed with the Great List of Things You Can’t Do While Pregnant. Instead, take steps towards achieving prenatal health with daily goals like a healthy diet, regular exercise, and even prenatal vitamins as directed.

The importance of prenatal vitamins can’t be overstated. They’re a fantastic way to promote healthy pregnancies, and taking an organic, non-GMO tablet eliminates the risk of women ingesting extra filler ingredients and avoids upsetting the stomach.

While the Kind Organics Prenatal Multi tablets are easy to digest, they don’t contain any fillers or binders. The supplements are designed to nourish women before, during, and after pregnancy to provide the essential nutrients to the body without miscellaneous filler ingredients irritating the stomach.

Each tablet includes iron from organic curry leaves in the prenatal formula to help fight off anemia. Additionally, B vitamins are essential to pregnant women and nursing mothers because it helps the body convert food into energy and fight off tiredness. B vitamins also help to stimulate healthy red blood cell production for mothers and their unborn children.

One of the most important B vitamins is folate. Kind Organics Prenatal Multi tablets include the recommended amount of folate to promote healthy growth. The vitamin encourages new cell development that will spark formation of a baby’s brain, spine, organs, skin and bones.

Organic ginger and peppermint is also included in each tablet to help with nausea and morning sickness.

Kind Organics Prenatal Multi tablets have a patent-pending formula that includes more than 30 natural fruits, vegetables and herbs. The special blend promotes the healthy digestion and absorption of all the essential vitamins. Meanwhile, for mothers who eat completely organic, these tablets adhere to the strict dietary rules for an all-organic diet and are certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Whether you’re already expecting, planning for the future, or are already enjoying a new arrival, prenatal vitamins remain a wonderful option for mothers looking to improve the health of themselves and their children. The Importance of Children’s Multivitamins and Digestive Health

children's multivitamins

Many parents know about the general benefits and importance of children’s multivitamins and do their best to be sure their children get them regularly. Vitamins promote health in a variety of ways, and it’s often difficult to build a diet for children that covers all of the essential nutrients. However, most people don’t know how important a child’s digestive health is to the overall function of their immune system and other essential functions.

By selecting multivitamins and supplements with specific digestive health benefits, your child can experience a higher level of health and comfort. Here are some of the most important areas to target as well as some of the best products currently available for that purpose.

Lower GI Health

When your child’s lower GI tract is functioning improperly, a number of symptoms can develop. For example, your child might feel bloated, gassy, or nauseous. They might also suffer from bad breath. In severe cases, vomiting and reflux are common. Supplements like Aquaflora Enzyme Restoration can help promote lower GI health without adding sugars or allergens to your child’s diet. This is extremely important, since allergic reactions are often just as unpleasant as the symptoms that you’re trying to remove.

Bacterial Balance

Bacterial balance is a popular topic among the health-conscious consumer. Various yogurts and other foods exist to help suppress the growth of detrimental bacteria while promoting the growth of beneficial organisms. Probiotic supplements are a must for every child in order to give their digestive tract the good kind of bacteria that they need. Some probiotic supplements even add multivitamins and minerals, so that you’re getting all bases covered with one supplement.

Bowel Function

Bowel function is not just about your child’s comfort. The proper absorption of nutrients and expelling of waste are essential for proper body function. Digestive enzymes can certainly help break down the food and help promote proper bowel function in your child. With daily use, your child will experience more effective and efficient nutrient absorption from both their diet and their vitamin supplements.

Proper Diet

One of the most powerful ways to ensure healthy digestive and immune system health is through a properly designed diet. Cookbooks designed to aid in digestive health can help parents discover ways of choosing and preparing food that will constantly promote proper functioning in their child. While supplementation is still a good idea, there really isn’t a better foundation for any type of health than a proper diet.

Multivitamin supplements and probiotics are critical to the long-term health and comfort of your child. By choosing high-quality products and a sound diet, you can help ensure that your children enjoy the benefits of great health for their entire childhood.

Give Your Immune System A Boost!!

Every winter, not only do I get sick…but my kids bring germs home from school. Then it becomes a vicious cycle with the whole family sick in turns.

When you suffer with cold symptoms throughout the winter, your problem could be related to a weakened immune system. I know with me, I “think” I am SUPERMOM..but, with my busy lifestyle, job, kids, and running around…I get and feel run down very quickly.

So, last winter I decided that none of us were getting sick!!

Give Your Immune System a Boost

Give Your Immune System a Boost

And, to my surprise….this is the second winter with no sickness.

Take charge of your immune system with some simple lifestyle changes & good habits. That’s what we did. Here are a few of our simple steps to a healthier lifestyle while boosting your immunity that have worked for me and my family.

Rest, Relax,  Meditate

Getting enough sleep is incredibly important to maintaining the health of your immune system. The CDC reports that somewhere between 50 million to 70 million American adults suffer from sleep disorders like insomnia.
According to WebMD, studies show that sleep deprivation lowers T-cell counts—the very cells responsible for the body’s immune response to ward off cold and flu viruses. All of this weakens the immune system & increases your likelihood of contracting a cold.

Your body uses sleep to recharge. Give your body the time it needs to regroup from the day’s events by taking time out for relaxation or meditation each day. Clear your mind of the day’s stresses. Turn down the volume on the TV or radio—better yet, turn off the noise entirely. Follow a consistent nighttime routine to help ease your body into rest mode.

Eat a Balanced, Nutrient-Rich Diet

Vitamins & minerals are essential for bone health, great skin, hair & vital organ functioning. Experts estimate that poor dietary habits contribute to 310,000 to 580,000 deaths among U.S. adults each year—especially when combined with a lack of regular exercise.

Fruits & vegetables are regarded as immune-boosting foods and are typically low in calories, but packed with fiber & nutrients that your body needs to ward off disease. I love vegetables such as kale, broccoli, lettuce and cabbage which support your liver & immune function by boosting the liver’s ability to flush out toxins.

My family LOVE avocados. Avocados support adrenal function and health, and keep your immune system happy. Avocados contain essential amino acids, antioxidants and healthy fats.

When it comes to fruits, again, we have no problem here…and cannot get enough! Choose fruits & vegetables with rich colors, such as deep purples, reds, oranges, yellows & greens.

Here is an interesting fact, I just found out about. Black currants contain compound anthocyanosides, which promote blood vessels that have protective properties against forms of retinal damage in people with diabetes. It is also helpful for promoting night vision.  They are rich in vitamin C (they contain 5 times the amount in an orange), making them a powerful immunity booster. I will be buying some today.

Zinc and selenium are two minerals classified as antioxidants. You’ll find them in foods like tuna, red meat, poultry, nuts and grain products.

Harvard Health Publications, which is an interesting site with health and medical news, names the following vitamins and minerals as immune-boosters:
Vitamin A
Vitamin B12– I like the Garden of Life Raw B 12
Vitamin B6
Vitamin C– I take Garden of Life Raw Vitamin C
Vitamin D– I highly recommend the Nordic Naturals ProOmega + D3
Vitamin E– again, I suggest Garden of Life Vitamin E
Oregano oil– cant say that I take this, but we all should. It helps improve your gut health & eliminates bad bacteria
Probiotics– one that I love is Dr. Ohirra’s which has 12 strains of lactic acid bacteria, helps support your overall health and digestive system.
Prime One– I cannot live without this product. It contains Adaptogens that provide immune support. I also have more energy since taking this product.

Fuel Your Vital Organs with Plenty of Water

Your body is mostly made up of water, and proper hydration improves blood flow—allowing your body to deliver more oxygen-rich blood to your vital organs and help flush out toxins.
Water is necessary for proper kidney function. It’s your kidneys that hold the primary responsibility for removing waste and toxins from the foods and beverages you ingest. You can’t over-hydrate your kidneys.

Water keeps your skin looking healthy and your body temperature regulated. That means your skin can better protect against germs and airborne bacteria.
Try to consumer 64 ounces of water daily. If I can, so can YOU!

Regular Moderate Exercise

There are a few ways exercise works to boost immunity. First, the activity and the extra air you’re consuming helps to flush out bacteria from the lungs—and even cancer-causing toxins by increasing your urine and sweat output. It also decreases the production of stress hormones. Because stress contributes to illness, this factor alone helps keep colds and viruses at bay.

These lifestyle changes may seem basic, but they provide a strong immune foundation. It does not take a lot of time or effort to boost your immune health—just a few small changes to your daily habits can lead to a healthier & longer life.
