You receive material via e-mail which will guide you in making the changes necessary to achieve natural healing and well being. The circumstances in your life won't change, but your
attitude will!
The program extends over eight weeks, covering 5 basic
modalities:
- Relaxation
- Imagery & Visualization
- Perceptual Reframing
- Nutrition
- Yoga Exercise
Each of these 5 modalities, individually, has been shown
to enhance well being. Research conducted on this
particular program showed a 42% reduction in individual
subjective stress level scores. You are able to change
your behavior patterns as long as you participate in the
program on a regular basis. Of course, the intention is
that you would continue to use these techniques long
after the 8 weeks, that you would incorporate some or
all of the suggested routines into your daily life and
therefore modify your behavior patterns on a long term
basis. The program works! Try it! You'll like it!
You will receive material covering all 5
modalities. There are several options - you don't need
to do all of them all the time. Try out
new techniques for a week but resort back to the old
ones if there are previous ones that you prefer.
It is not that critical which method to elicit a relaxation
response and create useful imagery you choose.
More importantly, it is significant that you take time
out regularly to for relaxation and visualization meditation.
That is the way you achieve the greatest
rewards. We suggest that you do some type of relaxation
on a regular basis. This will change your body's ability
to regulate your autonomic nervous system, which is
responsible for modulating how you feel.
A well balanced diet is an important pillar of vibrant health,
but many of us struggle with eating healthily. The program includes
a food diary may be printed out and then filled in by
you. It allows you to see the patterns that emerge and
we give you tools to make changes if necessary.
The yoga exercises are basic, introductory postures for the beginner.
We recommend that you try them all. It is advisable to
do 5-15 minutes of yoga regularly. You check in via
email twice per week, asking any questions that may
arise or any comments that you may have.
