What is Arnica?
Homeopathic Arnica Montana – also known simply as “Arnica”– has
been used for centuries to reduce the uncomfortable swelling and
bruising associated with a physical trauma. Prepared from a
daisy-like plant nativeto the Swiss Alps, the herb is toxic;
conversely, the resulting homeopathic medication is not, due to
the small doses of Arnica used in Homeopathy.
What is Arnica from TraumaCare?
TraumaCare is a controlled dosage regimen combining
prescription-strength and low-potency Homeopathic Arnica
Montana. Clinically proven, Arnica from TraumaCare goes beyond treating
pain – it speeds healing. Recommended by doctors, TraumaCare
has demonstrated a reduction in the amount of visible bruising
inpatients within the first day and even more dramatically one
week later.
What is a Major Trauma?
Major physical traumas result in broken or crushed blood
vessels bleeding into injured muscle and/or connective tissue.
TraumaCare is proven in research studies to speed the body’s
natural response to injury. The body’s healing process is to
re-establish normal blood flow, re-build the injured tissue,
and remove the damaged, torn, crushed, or cut muscle fibers
and connective tissue.

ACL Reconstruction Surgery
The ACL is the major stabilizing ligament of the knee, running from the thigh bone to the shin bone through the center of the knee. Usually the tearing of the ACL happens when a person suddenly changes direction or a decelerating force hits the knee, as often happens during sports. A popping sensation and even a popping sound might be experienced as the ligament tears, and there is a rapid onset of swelling. Pain and swelling continue after arthroscopic knee surgery for the torn ligament; recovery is a lengthy and uncomfortable process.
The ACL can't be sewn back together; the ligament can only be reconstructed. ACL reconstruction surgery is usually followed by a significant amount of swelling from the trauma of surgery, and by bruising (around the scar). The torn ligament recovery period can easily last up to a year. However, TraumaCare™ is a safe, effective remedy to help ensure a comfortable healing process.
Swelling after Arthroscopic Knee Surgery
Arthroscopy is a way for a surgeon to look inside the human body with a small camera. The most common use of arthroscopy is for knee surgery, such as ACL reconstruction surgery, but other common arthroscopic surgeries are performed for the hip, shoulder, wrist, elbow, and ankle.
The swelling after arthroscopic knee surgery or another arthroscopic surgery can be reduced by TraumaCare™. You can also use Arnica from TraumaCare™ in post-surgery recovery and sports medicine, and to ease the recovery of on-the-job, bicycle, and car accident injuries.
Torn Ligament Recovery
Ligaments are bands of fibrous tissue that connect bones or cartilage in the body, for various purposes. A ligament may provide joint strength and stability, or it may act to limit certain movements. Tearing a ligament — whether in the knee, hand, shoulder, or elsewhere — will usually result in a significant amount of painful swelling. Many people have used Arnica TraumaCare™ during their torn ligament recovery to reduce swelling and speed their healing process. You can benefit from this use of TraumaCare™, too.

Why do Doctors Recommend Arnica by Traumacare after Surgery
All board-certified surgeons inform their patients prior to surgery that bruising and swelling are natural consequences of most significant surgical procedures. The Homeopathic Arnica Montana by TraumaCare was designed to counteract these two post-operative symptoms. Every patient responds individually with more or less bruising and swelling, but all patients will experience these symptoms to some degree. The extent of the bruising and swelling depends on many factors, including the type of procedure, the age and overall health of the patient, whether the patient is a smoker, and the patient's inherent susceptibility to bruising.
Homeopathic Arnica has been used to lessen the bruising and swelling after trauma to the human body for hundreds of years. Arnica Montana is an herb that grows wild in the Swiss Alps. It's a species in the genus Arnica, and has also been known over the centuries as "leopard's bane" and "wolf's bane." For over a thousand years, Arnica Montana has been used as a European herbal medicine for the reduction of bruising and swelling and to shorten the recovery period after physical trauma. Now Arnica Montana is available as TraumaCare for the same purposes: to reduce bruising and swelling and to speed healing after a "planned trauma" — that is, surgery.
The Homeopathic Arnica is prepared in a FDA-licensed manufacturing laboratory in Northern California as a Homeopathic Medicine according to the FDA-recognized methods of the United States Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia. The FDA considers Homeopathic Arnica by TraumanCare to be so safe that it is available without a prescription. SinEcch™ has been on the market and widely available for more than 10 years.
